Top 3 Ways to Get Famous Overnight

Write By: Valentin Rosca on

Fame has really gotten to you, has it? Very well, we are here to talk about fame and how you can get famous, but we are warning you from the very beginning: this is a tough process. If you want to know how to get famous overnight, you should be completely aware of the fact that… well, there is no such thing. Even if you did hear about people getting famous in one day or anything like that, you might be surprised to find out that they put in a lot of work into it or they really did something silly to get where they are. Let’s make this clear: there is no such thing as getting famous in one day. That “one day” that everybody is talking about is the day in which popularity sparks, but you do not even know if it is one day or not.

What usually happens is that there is a lot of work put into a project, a person and self-development until you finally reach your celebrity status. It takes days, months, even years to get there and if you are not ready to wait and make all the sacrifices, you are not going to make it. So what are the top three ways in which you can get famous? They are all narrowed down to a few concepts that you might already be aware of: work, building your character and delayed gratification. We talked about the last one in our previous Top 5 Reasons You Don't Want to Be Famous guide and you know about the rest because you most likely hear about them every day. So we will go through each and every one of them so you can have a clear image of what being famous actually looks like.

Why the Willingness to Work Is the Most Important Thing

Woman-wears-a-white-dressWe are educated as a society to ask for more than we can offer. It’s just the way things are. People are ok with it, they feel comfortable with it and they think that it’s pretty ok to stick with this plan. Only that it is not. While we do understand comfort and we are ok with it, it is of paramount important for you to know that if you do not work, you do not get famous. It’s as simple as that. If you want fame, you need to be able to get off that chair and do more. You need to work on your projects when you get home from work, you have to give up some parties, some going-outs with friends and you will even need to give up some friendships in order to pursue your goals. Getting out of your comfort zone is a very hard thing because it is practically a habit. You come home every day, crash in front of the TV or the computer and start looking at whatever it is that you are looking, trying to forget what a good, decent or horrible day it was. To be fair, work has to be your kind of rehab. The reason why we are putting it like this is because the habit that you have is an ignorance drug. After you come home from work you usually just want to forget about everything. That’s why you are doing senseless things like watching the TV. Think about it. Does the TV make you famous? No. Does it improve your life in any way? Apart from the fact that you are entertained for an hour or two… no. Does it make you money? God, no! It’s actually sucking everything you’ve got. This is why you should focus on personal projects and getting things done for yourself. In the end, you will start being productive, you will be in a personal rehab that is going to sound like “I am doing this for myself, I need to push forward, I have a dream” and you will eventually become famous not only because of your project, but the perseverance and willingness to change that you demonstrated you do have. Work hard, work productively and work with your heart towards your dreams. Most people will tell you that they are just dreams… but they can be your reality if you make them.

Personal Development Is Actually a Thing

Girl-is-dreaming This is perhaps the fastest way you want to follow if you want to know how to get famous overnight. We need to go into financial education for you to properly understand why. In general, people have an income that they spend on liabilities (houses, phones, food, etc.). The problem is that liabilities cost you money, but they do not bring you any money back. This is why personal development is so important. Your brain, the way you think and the way you act are the most important assets in your life. You always have to challenge yourself when it comes to how you need to think, how you need to act and how fast you can grow. The next important step is understanding that school did not teach you to be famous. It does not want that. No one wants you to be famous. You are just trained not to make mistakes and be a good employee. School does not teach you how to fail and get back up again. And this is a huge issue for a person who wants to get famous. Getting up there means that you have to know what failure is and you absolutely must know how to cope with it. This is why few people make it in the first place: they are emotionally unable to cope with failure. It’s tragic, really, but this is the truth. Learn how to fail and do it fast. Do not be afraid of it. If you want to know exactly how to think about it, let’s put it this way: you are an employee now, or maybe a teenager who does not really know what to do with their lives yet. You stick to the idea of a job for your entire life… you will never be known for being a good employee, you will barely have any money and you will barely have any satisfaction for yourself. Why press on like this? This already IS failure. Why not settle for something better and pay the price for it? At least if you are going to fail, fail for a greater goal for yourself, something you love, something you are dedicated to. This is how personal development really works. And the faster you learn how to fail, the faster you will get famous.

Delayed Gratification Is Being Patient

Girl-wears-a-cowboy-hatWhy this core concept is essential to getting famous fast is that, again, most of us are addicted to the paycheck. We want results now, we want them fast and we want the guaranteed safety for what we work. If you are going to become famous, you need to drop safety in favor of freedom. It might sound like nonsense, but it’s not. This is why you dream of becoming famous in the first place: you want freedom. You want to do something that you like for as long as you like and have all the financial freedom in the world. This is what you crave for. The only thing that you have to be sure of is that there is a price to pay for this freedom. You will often work and feel like the reward is not coming. You will sometimes be desperate, emotionally drained, you will doubt yourself and ask yourself if this is the way, if you are doing the right thing and you will question what others think of you. The cure is simple: it does not matter what others think, you just keep going. Keep pushing, keep doing what you do and move onward.

You need to reach the destination that you have set for yourself and the fastest way to do so is to move onward. Do not doubt yourself, do not worry about what others think, do not let your enthusiasm falter. Know that if you truly crave this dream you just have to keep going. That is how it works. The more you falter, the more you think about other things that you cannot control, the longer it is going to take you to reach your goal. Do not sabotage yourself. Keep going. These are the fastest ways to get up there, literally. If you want to know how to get famous overnight, it is just a matter of doing all the things that we have mentioned here. It can be hard in the beginning but, in time, you learn how to get used to it. We said it before and we will say it again: getting famous is no easy job. You have to be strong. You have to be brave enough not to be like the others and follow your dreams. Those who tell you that you cannot do it are lying to you. You can.
